Lauren O'Brien

Clinical Director

Lauren O’Brien MEd, BCBA, LBS has over 18 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University and a Masters’ Degree in Elementary Education from Chestnut Hill College. Lauren completed Penn State’s Applied Behavior Analysis Program and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2010. With extensive experience in working with individuals with autism and other developmental delays, Lauren is skilled in various assessments such as VBMAPP, AFLS, PEAK, and IISCA. She has developed and implemented programs for individuals aged 0-21 across home, school, treatment center, and community based settings. In recent years, Lauren has focused on enhancing her leadership skills through clinical supervision roles, that integrate her enthusiasm for training and supervising BCBAs. Her focus lies in prioritizing data-based decision-making, client assent, and compassionate care. One of her notable achievements includes contributing to the development of a highly specialized, intensive program rooted in Dr. Hanley’s Practical Functional Assessment and Skills Based Treatment model for individuals with significant problem behaviors. Lauren has participated in clinical consultation with FTF Behavioral Consulting and is eager to share her knowledge with the next generation of Behavior Analysts.
